Soar in Strength
“But those who hope in the lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

Short-Term Mission
We are very blessed to have you joining this years mission outreach with us. We may all come from different backgrounds but we are united by Christ. His great works will be fulfilled as your passion is carried out to the villages.
So we ask you to be courageous in speaking of His words and humble in serving the First Nations people. It is not for our sake that we go but it is for God that we are visiting and meeting his people. It is a gift to serve and be served.
We pray that you will experience greater love in His presence throughout the entire preparation and mission trip of this year.
Training Camp

Training camp is a place where members of Love Corps participate in fellowship, restoration, and rejuvenation prior to their missions to the First Nations People of Canada. We believe that your own spiritual journey with Christ is just as important as sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, therefore training camp is a time for you. In that sense, training camp provides an environment and community devoted to self-care and reflection, while also providing group settings for fellowship with your own team, but also members of other teams from all around Vancouver and Canada. Through seminars, workshops and guest speakers it is our hope to equip members of Love Corps for the task at hand. In addition as much as we emphasize your personal journey, we also believe in the importance of being part of the one body of Christ. Through activities, events, meals, and general free time you will also have many opportunities to talk to others about their own spiritual walks, past Love Corps experiences and daily lives. Here at Love Corps we want training camp to be a place of restoration, rejuvenation, learning, and ultimately a fun and lasting memory. We hope that through this experience you not only grow your own spiritual walk with Christ, but also create many relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Outreach

Villages
Love Corps dispatches Short Summer Mission teams to 30 villages located in Northern BC Fort St. James, Central Area Williams Lake and Vancouver Island. The Vancouver Island team takes BC Ferries across Strait of Georgia to get to Vancouver Island. Villages such as Ahousaht and Opitsaht can be traveled to by taking another water taxi. Northern BC teams drive up to Prince George and drive up further to get to the villages by the next day. The total driving distance covered by teams is approximately 18000 miles, carrying 600 lbs of rice, 300 lbs of beef, 500 lbs of kimchi, 200 boxes of cup ramen, and so on. Traveling to the villages is an experience in itself that you will not forget. May God bless your journey.
Vacation Bible
School

This year’s theme is to “Soar in Strength”. God calls his followers to be strong and courageous, as his presence will bring renewal. We have prepared interactive bible stories and activities we believe that God will work through us during VBS. We pray that the people you meet in the villages will encounter the love of God, to realize how wonderful they have been created to be. We pray for strength in their families, friends, communities, and personal lives.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” – Isaiah 40:31
That is what we want to focus this year. Experiencing the renewal and presence of God as we trust in his works. When we seek guidance in God, he will give us strength. Therefore go and have courage. May God continue to guide you in your spiritual endeavors.
Culture Team

The Culture team exchange program provides the opportunity to travel to various villages and create friendships with people that come from different backgrounds. At the beginning of each year, various university students from different churches will come together as a team. They gather together weekly to prepare themselves for the summer mission outreach.. They will present themselves before God as Culture Team through prayers, worships, and practices. As Korean Culture Team, they will share their culture to the villages through performing traditional arts and dances.
